Feb 11, 2025 12:00 PM
Bill. writes: My family was in the auto business in Memphis and various other places from the 1930s until 1970, when my dad sold the dealership in Memphis and retired to La Jolla. In 1975, he was able to buy a floundering new car dealership in Carlsbad that was suffering due to the economic recession of 1973-74. My wife and I moved here in 1975 to join him and my brother followed a few year later. Today, my son and two nieces have taken the business into the fourth generation. So, next year we will celebrate our 50th year in Carlsbad! |
