International Service is committed to advancing international understanding and peace in the world through expending resources, both capital and human.  For many of these projects, our club partners with other clubs in the United States, as well as clubs in the countries where the projects are implemented. These partnerships help leverage funding and ensure the money is effectively used. Funding for these projects is enhanced by matching grants from our Rotary District (5340) and from The Rotary Foundation. One of our projects, the Scholars Lab of Tijuana was founded jointly by our club and the Rotary Club of Tijuana over 20 years ago. Emphasis is given to instruction on computer usage, English language proficiency, mentoring by fellow Rotarians, and the importance of networking.
